Pecar premium biscuits

Overview

One of the Russian’s oldest brands Pecar (means «baker») was founded in 1913. Currently, brand owner is «Confectionery Factory named after N.K. Krupskaya», which is the part of Orkla Brands Russia. So, on the eve of the Pecar brand centenary anniversary a range of finest biscuits was created.

Development of the visual identity and package design for new finest biscuits

Design

Famous Pecar brand launched a new traditional European bakery collection, where you can find interesting forms and sorts of biscuits, popular in different European countries. The very first collection has been launched in two editions: the Italian and Danish. Visual identity was inspired by Art Nouveau style, as close reflection of rich «Pecar» brand history and St. Petersburg cultural values (St. Petersburg is motherland of the brand). That is why KIAN created an image of European premium brand.

The creative team of the agency has done great work, concerning with cultural analysis. We seriously examined cultural references of European countries. These references bacame a base for illustrations, which imitate traditional impulses.
